Sunday Family Education begins September 7 following morning worship, 10:50—11:50 AM, for toddlers through adults. Pre-Kindergarten join together in the downstairs Quad Rooms, #13-16. Children age 2 by September 1 meet downstairs in Room #18, south hallway.
Kindergarten-Grade 5 will begin in the Fellowship Hall with a time of praise and worship, followed by a Large Group introduction to the lesson. Each grade will then follow their teacher to their classrooms for age specific Small Group time. Parents, grandparents and others are invited to the Fellowship Hall immediately following the Worship service; coffee and cookies available. When the K-Grade 5 children are dismissed to their Small Group time, the adults will have a time of exploring the children’s lessons.
Grades 6-8 will continue to have the same Sunday School format in the lower level.
Grades 9-12 will be allowed to choose one of the following four electives: 1) Family Sunday School Class in Fellowship Hall 2) Sunday School Teacher Apprenticeship for Grades K-5 3) Intergenerational Small Group Study 4) Youth Worship Band Devotional and Training.
Grade 9-12 and their parents are to meet in the Fellowship Hall immediately following worship and then go to the Jr RCYF room to discuss these electives in more depth, answer any questions, and allow students to sign up for their elective.

Intergenerational Small Group Studies will begin Sunday, September 14 during Family Education time after worship. Continuing the Conversation will engage in a 10 week reflection on the book and sermon series, Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit, Mike Altena, facilitator.
A second option will focus on the book by John Ortberg, The Life You’ve Always Wanted. Jon Salzer will lead the reflection on the book and DVD sessions.
A third option will be Prayer, written by David Healey and facilitated by Cheryl Fey.
