A Congregation Meeting is scheduled for next Sunday, March 29, immediately after worship for the purpose of calling Cory Grimm to serve American Reformed Church as Associate Pastor of Worship and Spiritual Formation. As the Associate Pastor, Cory will continue to oversee and lead the musical part of worship services and will also be involved with the intentional spiritual formation of ARC members in order that they might live, love, and lead like Jesus.
A second recommendation is to blend the two part time positions of Children’s Ministry Coordinator and Youth Coordinator into one fulltime position. Pending approval of the fulltime Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator, the position would be offered to Becky Ossefoort. Becky will primarily be seen as a coordinator and resource person who will equip volunteers and parents to nurture, mentor, and care for our children and youth. Pastor Mike will also devote additional time in the youth ministry.
