Food Shelf

August is ARC Food Shelf Month

In this year of changes and uncertainties, the Food Shelf has also had to change the way their clients are served.

Previously, clients of the Food Shelf could choose the food items they wanted from the shelves. Now, boxes are packed in advance, and handed to the clients thereby limiting the number of individuals passing through the doors of the Food Shelf. Guests are also provided vouchers for perishable foods of their choice.

Rock County churches support the Emergency Food Shelf by donating non-perishable food on a monthly basis. ARC continues to be responsible for the month of August to contribute food or cash.

Monetary gifts may be left at the church office or placed in the offering plate. Make checks payable to the Rock County Emergency Food Shelf.

Bring your donations to our church and they will be delivered to the Food Shelf, or you may drop them off at the south entrance of the Methodist Church from 9 AM-12 PM and 1-3 PM, Monday through Thursday.
